Labour Haters

[Current Mood : Very bored]
[Current Music : Nujabes - Counting stars]

I don't know what the deal is with all you Labour haters. "They are going to screw up the economy", "Australia will be in shambles".

Hahaha, the economy is pretty much a cycle. The last time Labour was in power was about 10+ years ago. I reckon Labour will do fine this time. If they DO manage to screw Australia up, I will eat my words and buy everyone ice creams.

Turning hobo (not homo)

[Current Mood : Bored]
[Current Music : Matchbox 20 - Real World]

Wow, Clara is going to love this!

As you loyal (......occasional/random) readers would know, it's that time of year again. Finals, exams, oral presentations, assignments, thesis etc etc. An all round busy time. So busy that I've been staying up late and waking up early to keep up. So busy that I haven't had time for a lot of stuff, like grooming. Don't get me wrong, I still take showers, brush my teeth and go to the toilet when I need to.

Anyway, yeah, I haven't shaved for about 4 days now. You might thinking, "Who gives a shit, I look like Osama after 1 day of no shaving", but screw you!

Check it out! I've got a Chinaman/Burke's Backyard early-stage hybrid!

Here's an extrapolation of what I'll look in the near future if I stop shaving completely. I must warn you, it's quite accurate.. and MANLY. What do you say Clara? Want to shack up with me tonight so you can stroke my MANLY beard until we both fall asleep?

I know... I am SUCH a dork....

Suprise Suprise.

[Current Mood : A bit stressed, Bored]

[Current Music : José Feliciano - Affirmation]

After all this planning to start studying a month before finals and here I am in the same rut that I'm always in this time of year. Although, through all the years of experience, I'm feeling slightly more prepared this time. Just the other day, I had to enroll for Semester 1 2008. The enrollment website stated that the enrollment would open at 7am, but from past experiences (-__-) it's a good idea to wake up a bit earlier and start hammering the server about an hour prior to the actual time of opening. Lucky I did, I started hammering the server at about 6 and only JUST managed to get the class times I wanted.

... On second thought, I'm still a little stressed. Went to uni for a test the other day, only to be greeted by the lecturer who announced that the test had been pushed back two days because some KNOB JOCKEY broke in a stole a test paper. Man, what a fuck head, he didn't even send me a copy.

You can usually tell it's time to stress when the Jacarandas are in full bloom, but assignments and exams aside, the Summer holidays are just around the corner again. I predict it's going to be a decent one. First, I will be spending what time I have with Clara, because sadly, she is leaving me for another COUNTRY. I guess I'm used to it by now, but hey, I'd like to spend Christmas with Clara for once. Maybe next year I'll go to Singapore and spend Christmas over there.

It seems like everyone is leaving this holidays too! John and Puff are going to Kuala Lumpur for no particular reason, Quinton is going to Hong Kong, Taiki is going to fulfill his pilot fetish. It's just you and me this holidays, Hayato.... oh wait.... Linh... nevermind. I would've liked to go to KL with John and Puff, but I can't afford it....

So... this Summer holidays will be (hopefully) spent working at a new job. I've put my resumé into a few places in the city. I've gotten ONE callback, from Myer, and they were kind enough to call me to tell me that I had be REJECTED, but was on the "potentials" list if they were short-staffed during the Christmas hustle-n-bustle period. I say Fuck That! Thank you Myer for the call back though, you got my hopes up for a full 3 seconds and destroyed whatever Christmas spirit I had left in me. I guess I'll be posting out my 2 page (shit) resumé out to a few more random places next time I'm out.

Maybe I'll find a job at the new Calamvale Central shopping centre. There's some big WAR going on between the new shopping centre and the old one. The owner of the old one has 'stooped' to an all new low and is giving out a Mercedes EVERY month for about a year or something. If I were to put money on the battle, my tip would be the to put everything on the old shopping centre (Sunnybank Hills Shopping Town). Calamvale Central pretty much sealed their fate when they built their shit on a piece of land that was so bloody hard to get to. To make things worse, they now have a HUGE traffic circle that is shared with three locations (The Calamvale Hotel, Macdonalds and a Petrol station). Good luck guys,

In other news, my favourite shows are in full swing (almost). The next couple of episodes of Heroes looks damn promising. I've pretty much figured out the show. Kensei is the killer! Scrubs is slowly getting back into the groove of being funny (kind of like when Season 6 re-started, it pretty much sucked). I'm enjoying Elliot and Keith's break up (Keith is a loser). Bleach is supposedly rushing to get to the good bits, and Naruto (I'm downloading the whole series, minus horrible fillers, from the start).

I've stumbled across a few good movies while surfing RottenTomatoes. One of them is called Better Luck Tomorrow, a film by Justin Lin. It's an all Asian-American movie about a group of high school students who get mixed up in some kind of shit. Really, it's a good movie, find it if you can! Another movie is Finishing the Game, also by Justin Lin. It's a mockumentary of the making of remake of Bruce Lee's final (unfinished) project, The Game of Death. It looks funny.

The first two weeks of the holidays should be pretty awesome. We're getting some visitors from Cairns and Erks is due for another bash. Funny, the whole Cairns visit started with (I think) me saying that someone was shit. The whole thing snowballed and now we are getting 4 guys coming down to Brisbane to prove their MIGHT! I'm talking about Tekken of course. Erks and I have this first to 50 battle with a few games. Loser has to shout dinner.

I haven't been blogging much lately hey.. Oh well, I've been busy with labs and stuff. Spending more time with decaying bodies than my girlfriend (sad). You'd think I was numb towards that kind of stuff by now, but the other day, I saw the trailer to Saw 4 (thanks Catfish). It was fucking disgusting! Some guy doing what looks to be a autopsy.. and he finds A CASSETTE TAPE IN HIS STOMACH! zomgzomgzomgzomg!

Anyway.. blogging. Last time, I THINK I left off with talking about all those profile sites. I must say, these fads change pretty damn fast. Wasn't the 'in thang' was MySpace just a few weeks ago? I think it's safe to say that MySpace is OUT now and almost everyone migrated to Facebook. What's up with that!? What ever happened to Friendster? I think I'm pretty 'addicted' to Facebook now. Bloody Clara.. (although I never used it much until now, I was a member since about 2005 or something. Facebook veteran right here!).

Reason I'm blogging right now is because I want some closure on my little procrastination session. If there was any time for a miracle, it would be now, and hopefully it will last until everyone's exams are over. The miracle would involve the simultaneous crash of youtube.com, gametrailers.com, tekkenzaibatsu.com, facebook.com, msnlive..... actually, just crash the whole fucking internet and leave Wikipedia so I can study!

With that said... I'd probably look up random shit on Wiki and find some way of procrastination.... Speaking of Wikipedia, I decided I would show them my support for their "Wikimedia" thing. After all, I've been using it like it was the ULTIMATE SOURCE OF INFORMATION since uni started. Follow this *link* and you'll find the following:

  • $200 – We can make Wikipedia available in developing countries through DVDs, books and pamphlets.
  • $100 – We can pay for two Wikipedia Academy events in Africa.
  • $60 – We can send three students to our annual Wikimania conference.
  • $40 – We can deliver 100 million pageviews of free information!

Thanks Wikipedia.. here is ONE HUNDRED of my hard earned cents for helping me so much throughout the years. If you're laughing at my stinginess, fuck you! I think you need to do some calculations!

They need to add this to that little table.

  • $1 – We can deliver 2500000 pageviews of free information!  <- Thanks Tom Ho!

FUCK! I HAVE TO STOP TYPING!

*hits himself*

I'm out of here

Thanks for reading!

Unfaithful

[Current Mood : Betrayed, Bored, Full]
[Current Music : Dave Brubec - Take 5]

NoteBetryal... yeah, stabbed in the back. Betrayal, yeah, I'm stretched on the rack. Betryal, yeah, thrown outa the pack... Betrayal.. yeah Note

Wow, I had the worst night ever. I think I've lost all faith in the fast food industries. At about 5:20 tonight, I ordered a pizza from Dominos. Fucking shit aye, it still hasn't come (it's 10:05 now). So I rang up at about 7:30 and chased up on my pizza masterpiece (Beef, Bacon, Chicken, BBQ sauce with a swirl of mayonaise) and guess what they said?!

"I'm sorry, we're really busy tonight"
"yeah, but it's been about 2 hours now"
"oh... yeah... orders tonight are taking up to 3 hours.."
"oh.... ok... bye"

So yeah.... I got sick of waiting at about 9:30 and went for a Maccas run. AND GUESS WHAT!?!?! I ordered 10 nuggets and they only gave me 9!!!!AngryAngry
