[Current Music : Nujabes - Counting stars]
I don't know what the deal is with all you Labour haters. "They are going to screw up the economy", "Australia will be in shambles".
Hahaha, the economy is pretty much a cycle. The last time Labour was in power was about 10+ years ago. I reckon Labour will do fine this time. If they DO manage to screw Australia up, I will eat my words and buy everyone ice creams.

Wow, Clara is going to love this!
As you loyal (......occasional/random) readers would know, it's that time of year again. Finals, exams, oral presentations, assignments, thesis etc etc. An all round busy time. So busy that I've been staying up late and waking up early to keep up. So busy that I haven't had time for a lot of stuff, like grooming. Don't get me wrong, I still take showers, brush my teeth and go to the toilet when I need to.
Anyway, yeah, I haven't shaved for about 4 days now. You might thinking, "Who gives a shit, I look like Osama after 1 day of no shaving", but screw you!
Check it out! I've got a Chinaman/Burke's Backyard early-stage hybrid!
Here's an extrapolation of what I'll look in the near future if I stop shaving completely. I must warn you, it's quite accurate.. and MANLY. What do you say Clara? Want to shack up with me tonight so you can stroke my MANLY beard until we both fall asleep?
I know... I am SUCH a dork....
-The End-
P.S
Moving this blog soon! Stay tuned..... please?
November 04 Suprise Suprise.[Current Mood : A bit stressed, Bored] [Current Music : José Feliciano - Affirmation] After all this planning to start studying a month before finals and here I am in the same rut that I'm always in this time of year. Although, through all the years of experience, I'm feeling slightly more prepared this time. Just the other day, I had to enroll for Semester 1 2008. The enrollment website stated that the enrollment would open at 7am, but from past experiences (-__-) it's a good idea to wake up a bit earlier and start hammering the server about an hour prior to the actual time of opening. Lucky I did, I started hammering the server at about 6 and only JUST managed to get the class times I wanted. ... On second thought, I'm still a little stressed. Went to uni for a test the other day, only to be greeted by the lecturer who announced that the test had been pushed back two days because some KNOB JOCKEY broke in a stole a test paper. Man, what a fuck head, he didn't even send me a copy. You can usually tell it's time to stress when the Jacarandas are in full bloom, but assignments and exams aside, the Summer holidays are just around the corner again. I predict it's going to be a decent one. First, I will be spending what time I have with Clara, because sadly, she is leaving me for another COUNTRY. I guess I'm used to it by now, but hey, I'd like to spend Christmas with Clara for once. Maybe next year I'll go to Singapore and spend Christmas over there. It seems like everyone is leaving this holidays too! John and Puff are going to Kuala Lumpur for no particular reason, Quinton is going to Hong Kong, Taiki is going to fulfill his pilot fetish. It's just you and me this holidays, Hayato.... oh wait.... Linh... nevermind. I would've liked to go to KL with John and Puff, but I can't afford it.... So... this Summer holidays will be (hopefully) spent working at a new job. I've put my resumé into a few places in the city. I've gotten ONE callback, from Myer, and they were kind enough to call me to tell me that I had be REJECTED, but was on the "potentials" list if they were short-staffed during the Christmas hustle-n-bustle period. I say Fuck That! Thank you Myer for the call back though, you got my hopes up for a full 3 seconds and destroyed whatever Christmas spirit I had left in me. I guess I'll be posting out my 2 page (shit) resumé out to a few more random places next time I'm out. Maybe I'll find a job at the new Calamvale Central shopping centre. There's some big WAR going on between the new shopping centre and the old one. The owner of the old one has 'stooped' to an all new low and is giving out a Mercedes EVERY month for about a year or something. If I were to put money on the battle, my tip would be the to put everything on the old shopping centre (Sunnybank Hills Shopping Town). Calamvale Central pretty much sealed their fate when they built their shit on a piece of land that was so bloody hard to get to. To make things worse, they now have a HUGE traffic circle that is shared with three locations (The Calamvale Hotel, Macdonalds and a Petrol station). Good luck guys, In other news, my favourite shows are in full swing (almost). The next couple of episodes of Heroes looks damn promising. I've pretty much figured out the show. Kensei is the killer! Scrubs is slowly getting back into the groove of being funny (kind of like when Season 6 re-started, it pretty much sucked). I'm enjoying Elliot and Keith's break up (Keith is a loser). Bleach is supposedly rushing to get to the good bits, and Naruto (I'm downloading the whole series, minus horrible fillers, from the start). I've stumbled across a few good movies while surfing RottenTomatoes. One of them is called Better Luck Tomorrow, a film by Justin Lin. It's an all Asian-American movie about a group of high school students who get mixed up in some kind of shit. Really, it's a good movie, find it if you can! Another movie is Finishing the Game, also by Justin Lin. It's a mockumentary of the making of remake of Bruce Lee's final (unfinished) project, The Game of Death. It looks funny. The first two weeks of the holidays should be pretty awesome. We're getting some visitors from Cairns and Erks is due for another bash. Funny, the whole Cairns visit started with (I think) me saying that someone was shit. The whole thing snowballed and now we are getting 4 guys coming down to Brisbane to prove their MIGHT! I'm talking about Tekken of course. Erks and I have this first to 50 battle with a few games. Loser has to shout dinner. I haven't been blogging much lately hey.. Oh well, I've been busy with labs and stuff. Spending more time with decaying bodies than my girlfriend (sad). You'd think I was numb towards that kind of stuff by now, but the other day, I saw the trailer to Saw 4 (thanks Catfish). It was fucking disgusting! Some guy doing what looks to be a autopsy.. and he finds A CASSETTE TAPE IN HIS STOMACH! zomgzomgzomgzomg! Anyway.. blogging. Last time, I THINK I left off with talking about all those profile sites. I must say, these fads change pretty damn fast. Wasn't the 'in thang' was MySpace just a few weeks ago? I think it's safe to say that MySpace is OUT now and almost everyone migrated to Facebook. What's up with that!? What ever happened to Friendster? I think I'm pretty 'addicted' to Facebook now. Bloody Clara.. (although I never used it much until now, I was a member since about 2005 or something. Facebook veteran right here!). Reason I'm blogging right now is because I want some closure on my little procrastination session. If there was any time for a miracle, it would be now, and hopefully it will last until everyone's exams are over. The miracle would involve the simultaneous crash of youtube.com, gametrailers.com, tekkenzaibatsu.com, facebook.com, msnlive..... actually, just crash the whole fucking internet and leave Wikipedia so I can study! With that said... I'd probably look up random shit on Wiki and find some way of procrastination.... Speaking of Wikipedia, I decided I would show them my support for their "Wikimedia" thing. After all, I've been using it like it was the ULTIMATE SOURCE OF INFORMATION since uni started. Follow this *link* and you'll find the following:
Thanks Wikipedia.. here is ONE HUNDRED of my hard earned cents for helping me so much throughout the years. If you're laughing at my stinginess, fuck you! I think you need to do some calculations! They need to add this to that little table.
FUCK! I HAVE TO STOP TYPING! *hits himself*
I'm out of here Thanks for reading! -Tom what would you do if youtube, myspace, facebook, wiki, went down? October 05 Unfaithful[Current Mood : Betrayed, Bored, Full]
[Current Music : Dave Brubec - Take 5]
Wow, I had the worst night ever. I think I've lost all faith in the fast food industries. At about 5:20 tonight, I ordered a pizza from Dominos. Fucking shit aye, it still hasn't come (it's 10:05 now). So I rang up at about 7:30 and chased up on my pizza masterpiece (Beef, Bacon, Chicken, BBQ sauce with a swirl of mayonaise) and guess what they said?!
"I'm sorry, we're really busy tonight"
"yeah, but it's been about 2 hours now"
"oh... yeah... orders tonight are taking up to 3 hours.."
"oh.... ok... bye"
So yeah.... I got sick of waiting at about 9:30 and went for a Maccas run. AND GUESS WHAT!?!?! I ordered 10 nuggets and they only gave me 9!!!! September 19 Free accomodation at the Gold Coast available![Current Mood : Bored]
[Current Music : Michael Bublé - Me and Mrs Jones]
Heh, it's available all year round too! I was just looking at the opening hours of this computer lab. It says it's open 24hours all day all year round!? Even on Christmas! I mean, if you were a dirt poor student, you could just live in the lab!
Awesome!
Ducky hates you for making poomy sad. September 11 Good Morning, Good Afternoon...[Current Mood : Bored] [Current Music : Say Anything - Alive with the Glory of Love] Pretty bored at the moment and I haven't made a big blog entry in ages. So here goes. Remember sometime in October last year how I blogged about being the star of my own show, where everyone would be watching my everyday life without me knowing (ie. like The Truman Show). Anyway, I've been thinking about the present and future recently (nothing that big) and wondering how it'll all turn out. Which got me thinking about the blog entry I mentioned before. It wouldn't suck THAT much to live like that. I mean seriously, I doubt they would let me deteriorate into a bin scavenging bum that lived on the streets. I'm sure they'd rig exams and shit so I'd get a reasonable pass grade. Of course, it'd suck if everyone saw me pick my nose and shit. I'm sure they wouldn't allow me to die or something either (at least not until I get old and boring). Speaking of dying, the 'new' Fruitgrove Station puts you in that situation quite a lot now. If you didn't know already, the Queensland Government is using up all their money to beautify up the train stations. That means, refurbished shelters, new rail lines, new ticket vending machines and probably the (finally) implementing of the 'SmartCard' system. *Side note* Hong Kong's Octopus Card system was actually designed by an Australian company. Funnily enough, the system never took off in Australia (probably because of fence jumping bogans) and they are actually going to the Chinese for help with the system now. *end side note* .... Fruitgrove station is almost done with its face lift and I gotta say they did a pretty shit job. Don't get me wrong, the station looks great, it's just that the person that planned the layout was probably the biggest dunce ever. See bottom for picture of layout. It's pretty damn stupid with the new layout. The outbound bus (me going home) leaves about 2 minutes after the train gets to Fruitgrove, so you are forced to risk your life if you want to make the bus (and not wait another 15 minutes). First off, you are forced to run to the END of the platform (because that's the only way out now) and around the 'snake' to get to the inbound bus stop. That's where you have to make a MAD DASH (dotted green line) across two super busy roads. It's basically playing Frogger, but with NO lives/continues and only Game Overs. Of course, you could wait at the lights for the Green Man to come on (heh, Clara! Here is your mention!), but you are definitely going to miss the bus (red line)! I can imagine how infinitely worse it would be if you had to catch the bus after getting off the train coming from the city (blue line). The MAD DASH (green line) is not advised, since you're probably out of stamina from running up/down the stairs, all the way to the end of the platform and around the 'snake'. Game Over buddy. With that said, I JUST made it on the bus today. It was already at the stop and I flagged it about 30 meters away. The driver was nice enough to wait. This wouldn't happen if I was the star of the show. The director would stop traffic just for me. ... and Good Night. September 03 MMOWO[Current Mood : Bored]
[Current Music : Common (Feat Bilal) - Your World]
I'm sure most of you are feeling it. It's so shit, the massively molesting offline work overloads.
I was just thinking last night, "hmmm it's week 7 now.. that means I'm gonna be pretty fucked pretty soon."
Oh well, I guess if I realised it this early, I will probably take some pre-emptive steps to prepare. I've got about 2 hours to kill before my next class. Once again, I had to wake up at 5:30 to get ready and get here (Gold Coast Griffith) on time. It's really beginning to be a pain, I need (want :P) a car.
Uni aside, the rest of life is 'satisfactory'. I've been making use of my PS3. Damn, they have some pretty fucking cool games on the PSN (Playstation Network) up for download now. Tekken Online, Puzzle Fighter and Warhawk just to name a few. Of course, these come with a pricetag (sometimes more than you'd expect for downloadable content. Warhawk cost me 50 dollars (Australian dollars), but it's definately worth it. Now I just have to wait until my friends get it so I can play against them.
I've also been playing more Online Tekken (yes, even though I vowed not to play that shit again). It's funny how much people care for their online stats. So much so that they boot you from a room if you beat them, or disconnecting after they lose 1 round of a 3 round match. Lameness. Most of the time, they shouldn't even be angry that they are losing, because they are just THAT shit!
Enough about Tekken and games I guess. I've been wanting to draw again (I tried last night, and I totally suck ass again) after seeing Hyun86's gallery).
ARRRRR I'M SO BORED! I've already gone through all my boredom sites (not Superficial, cos I can't be caught looking at Woman's Day type shit while I'm surrounded by people). Anyway, I'm out of here until I have some more to write about. September 01 Dalveer Test![Current Mood : Bored, Sick]
[Current Music : None]
If you don't understand the blog title, don't worry, most people won't.
There will be a test.
Yeah... I have a test in half an hour. Why the fuck would you schedule a test for 8:30am on Saturday anyway. I'm feeling really shit (sick, wanna puke, headache... maybe I'll just go do the test and piss off back home).
I have a summarized set of notes (minimal knowledge), but I don't think I can even retain that much. I really hate exams. Everytime, it's the same. I go to uni and all you hear is smart people that talk about what they know and shit and I'm left thinking, "hmmm, I've never even heard of that shit before."
Long and behold, the test is made up COMPLETELY of the stuff that I missed out on.
I shouldn't have had that coffee this morning, the diuretic effect is kicking in quick. Anyway, I'm outta here. I have to take a piss before I go in and wet myself.
Wish me luck! (Of course, it will be of no use, because by the time you read this, I would have finished the exam already [because no one wakes the fuck up at 8am on a Saturday
Bye!
August 20 The first yiggs[Current Mood : VERY BORED]
[Current Music : Phoenix Wright - Objection theme]
I am sooooo bored at the moment. I had a lab this morning (at 8) and it finished a few hours early. My next class is at 4, it's ~12 noon now, so I still have a good 4 hours to kill.
In other news, it's finally safe to say that I was the first person to ever use "yiggs" as my nickname.
And no... it does NOT mean "yellow nigger".
My only real competition for the nickname was the owner of www.yiggs.com and after doing some snooping, I found out that he only started using the name since September 2002. Proof -> http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.yiggs.com
Hehe, sorry yiggs.com guy, I was registered yiggs@hotmail.com in 1999.
I WIN, but I don't have proof. The only person that I can remember that hasn't changed their email since I met them is John Lau.
Oh well, I win! August 12 Going to the Opera[Current Mood : Still bored]
[Current Music : Hazel Fernandes - Number One] <- hahaha this song is so awesome *link*
I'd like to wish I went to the Opera (Super Battle Opera). I came home from Clara's place at about 9ish and stumbled upon a live feed link from Famitsu of the whole day's tournament (~10 hours). TEN hours of LIVE feed! One thing Australia could NEVER achieve with shit internet.
Long story short, I spent most of the day with a few 100 other Tekken players on msn and irc just watching this shit. We (the Aussies) went nuts when the Australian team made it on the screen. Pity it was short lived. So lucky..... drawing the second strongest Kansai team to play against first round. Australia, USA (3 teams), China etc and all the non-korean teams were knocked out in the first round, except for the European team (who had an import top tier japanese player [Tissuemon]).
In my honest opinion, the highlight of the whole 10 hours of feed was when the Tekken machine broke during the semi finals of the tournament. Not once... but TWICE! While they were fixing the machines, they switched to random interviews. The interviewer must've been venturing backstage when he ran into two random black guys (from the Soul Calibur III tournament earlier that day).
That's about it... Japan ended up winning again. Good games Another year, another iPod[Current Mood : Bored]
[Current Music : Travis - Selfish Jean]
I have never been an anti-Apple person, even though I would much rather use Windows than that osX bullshit. I DO however, like the service at Apple. I'll forget about the time that it took them a month to ship a replacement iPod from NSW to Brisbane. But yeah, I like the idea of getting a new (not refurbished) iPod every year (free of charge) just by "trading in" your old one.
In order to get your hands on a new iPod, you'll have to find a way to fuck it up beyond repair (without voiding the warranty). I suggest causing the HDD to fail, it's easy to do and it doesn't void your warranty. +UPDATE+ I received it today! Picture below Live spaces? MySpaces? Facebooks? Friendsters?[Current Mood : Bored]
[Current Music : Travis - Turn]
Heh, what's with all these friend networks? First of all, I'm ashamed to say that I have all of the above, but! I'm proud to say that I only really use two of them now (Live (msn) space and MySpace).
I only recently got into MySpace and by "get into" I mean "into" it enough to have uploaded a few things and added a few friends and 'celebrities
It will be called.... MyFriendsLiveBookSpaces, and if they were ever smart enough, they'd assymilate with some kind of search engine and some kind of video site and some kind of porn site and some kind of music site and some kind of video game site and some kind of news site and some kind of email site. Hmmm, that would get a bit silly trying to name the fucker though, because it would have to be called something like..
I now have a Facebook that is pimped out with random shit that eludes my true identity (because I got really bored with my old profile.. but seriously, I don't actually like men. Well, I have a lot of good male friends, but I don't LOVE (sexually) them. Geez).
Anyway, I guess what I was trying (unsuccesfully) to say is that those places are alright as long as you don't get sucked into the whole "make myself something I'm not" culture. I surf around a LOT on the net and I've seen just about EVERYTHING, though, I have NEVER seen bigger toss pots than some of the profiles on MySpace. Seriously, posting sequential webcam photos of yourself doing the same fucking pose is pretty lame. Another thing I see too often is the good old contrast photo. Holy crap, if you're gonna advertise yourself out to the world, in hopes to make friends (that's what those places are for anyway, right?), you might as well let people see who you really are (unless, of course, you've got some kind of heaps cool photoshopped picture of your own head on the MySpace founder's body
With that said, add me!
August 06 My monotony (no emo)[Current Mood - Bored]
[Current Music - The Rascals - A Beautiful Morning]
*Bursts through the door* It's a BEAUTIFUL mornaaaan. ah yeah!
Well, it wasn't exactly a beautiful morning this morning, or any other mornings recently (cept for last Saturday morning, that was pretty good). I woke up at 5am just to get to uni today. Piece of shit 9am lectures (there are no trains between 7 and 8 (or something like that) so I had to catch the 6:11am Beenleigh). I've got uni pretty much every day this semester (only Fridays (not legit) off). For once, I'm kinda appreciating being in uni (I'm still waiting on some results anxiously), and I pray that I have passed everything.
Anyway, woke up this morning and got to the bus stop, just in time to see the sunrise. The train ride was pretty good. It's good to see train drivers actually enjoying their job. The guy driving this morning was actually giving a tour or something over the intercom. It was pretty funny. Uni was pretty much the same as always. Lab, break, lecture, lab, lecture.
This blog probably didn't make any sense at all. Nevermind... just trying to say that I'm enjoying life and the "scheduled days of misery".
August 02 My Tekken[Current Mood : Bored]
[Current Music : Acres - Walking Next to You]
Well, finished my exam yesterday. I think I did ok. I pray I did ok.. I went into the exam all hyped up with Mother (the energy drink) with a runny nose and a chesty cough. The room was pretty small, but filled to the brim with people doing defers and supps. Haha, I was probably most annoying person in the room, having a coughing fit almost every 10 minutes. Oh well, I hope I didn't foil anyone's chances at passing.
Anyway, I've been looking forward to it since it was announced. Last night, I downloaded the online upgrade for Tekken. Simply put, the game sucks ass. I had a few games with Erks (Sydney), and it lagged like a bitch. The connection would fluctuate. Sometimes it was near perfect, others, there was 1-2 seconds lag. Played a few games against Quinton (Brisbane) and it was a little better, but still pretty shit.
This morning, I played against some Japanese folk. The lag was horrible, but I was still able to take a few wins by doing some pre-emptive Jack 5 cheap shit.
Tom's Rating for Tekken 5 DR: Online
4/10
Pros
You can finally play online with your friends
Practise mode
New music
Big hype
Cons
Lags like a bitch
You get cut from losing to scrubs by lag
Playing against locals still sucks
I think I will wait for the US or EU version.
July 30 My Own Personal Blog Entry[Current Mood : Bored] [Current Music : Dashboard Confessional - Stolen] Well, Quinton hooked me up with season 6 of Scrubs and I have to say, I was wrong to judge the season by the first episode (pure shit). I guess it went back to regular funny Scrubs after the 2nd or 3rd episode, not to mention more good music at the end of each episode. It's good to know that the series has been picked up for another season (supposedly the last season). Speaking of American shows, all interest in Heroes has dissolved into nothing. Frankly, I wasn't impressed by the last episode at all. Fucking... Hiro in ancient Japan with a setup for the whole Kensei story? Heh, saw it coming. They also have Miss Universe (Japan) to play the princess that Hiro (Kensei) will stab himself in the heart for. Uni is in full (half) swing now, but I still haven't really eased into the new semester's timetable. I guess it's expected when you're doing 1st, 2nd AND 3rd year subjects at the same time. The lecturers are alright this semester as well. One guy though, I don't think he could survive without his almighty lecture notes. He might as well have ShitTalker read it out to us. For those that don't know what ShitTalker is, google it. What else.. The new online Tekken comes out on Wednesday. Should be fun for a while (at least until T6 drops). And incase you didn't pick it, the title of the blog is a nod to Scrubs. Hahaha, you suck
(shit, what a crappy blog entry) July 24 ギャル男 o_0?[Current Mood : Shocked!]
[Current Music : Shiina Ringo - Onion Song]
Well.. I was doing some reading on Linh's blog and i was pretty shocked. Here's the entry.
Normally, i wouldn't really care, but since this is pretty over the line, i am force to comment.
ギャル男 (or Gyarus) translates into "a gal man". What the fuck. Since when was a man being a girl considered hot? It's not the 70s when looking like Prince was considered HOT!
![]() (Reference Image)
If this is the start of a plan to make hayato look like a fag, please stop now before you ruin someone's life. Because ultimately, hayato will just turn into this -> ![]() Because that's what a Gal Man is right? I did some research and it said that a Gal Man ussually has tanned skin, white, brown hair and tropical clothes and one of those girly haircuts. That's a Gal Man ....right?.... RIGHT?
PS, I'm hating all these new MSN Space upgrades.. they lag my IE like shit. July 23 uniuniuni[Current Mood : Shit] [Current Music : Mii Channel Music] Well.. the winter holidays are well and truly over. The feeling is so shit, when you've been overseas, you come back, have a great time with mates and then...... you have to wake up at 8am to catch a fucking stupid train all the way to the Gold Coast to listen to some guy read off PowerPoint. Kinda lame, but it's got to be done. Maybe this semester will be good (hahahaha... yeah ok). The biggest problem with my uni "experience" is that I've been all over the shop. Repeating subjects, skipping a year etc etc. Any bonds that I make are immediately severed once the semester ends, and if I'm lucky enough to hold onto them for the full year, they probably won't stick around for the next year. Oh well, this semester, I'll be mixed in with first, second AND third years! How's THAT for stupid!? On a happier topic, I've FINALLY found the music for the Mii Channel. What an awesome song! It's just a 1 minute loop (52 seconds, actually). Haha, we were playing Virtua Tennis 3 the other night on PS3, the music in that is so horrible, they should just replace it with the Mii Channel music. In fact, I think they should replace ALL in-game BGMs with Mii Channel music! Anyway, without further ado..... Yeah... there's ten and a half solid minutes of the loop, but who cares. -Late for uni Tom PS.. welcome back, Clara, miss you, kiss you July 15 Heh, Harry Potter[Current Mood : Bored]
[Current Music : YUI - Good-bye Days]
Well, I went to watch Harry Potter with my sister and Orson yesterday. I must say, I was pretty unimpressed. Not that the movie was super bad, just that it felt like NOTHING happened. Before you say anything, no, I don't read the books nor do I plan to. I'll probably just read the wiki blurbs at most.
On the topic of Harry Potter, there are some pretty broken spells. For example.... that.... Abra Kadabra (sp?) instant kill spell. Why don't they all do it? Fucking panzy Harry Potter does the torture one on the goth woman who killed his god father. He could've ended it right there and did Abra Kadabra on her ass!
I went to Sino Centre (Nathan Road, Mong Kok) again today. It's fucking awesome. Basically, it's like the entire Akihabara condensed into 3 storeys of shops (includes anime, manga, gashapon, statues, hentai, games, plushies, clothes, electronics, games etc etc). Friggen awesome!
Anyway, leaving at about 5pm tomorrow, so probably won't be online again until I get back to Australia. The flight is from HK to Sydney (stop over for one hour) and then to Brisbane. Damnit, I hate stop overs. Feels like I'm Tom Hanks in The Terminal.
Outta here. Had fun in HK. Can't wait to come again. July 14 Yay hong kong[Current Mood : Bored, Hot, Awesome] [Current Music : Arctic Monkeys - Mardy Bum] Man, I'm LOVING Hong Kong, and it's a pity I'm leaving tomorrow night :(. Found some awesome places to shop. I bought HEAPS of anime figures and stuff (heh, otaku). Clara will be happy, too bad I'm not giving her any ^______^! Don't want to leave just yet...
