Free accomodation at the Gold Coast available!

[Current Mood : Bored]
[Current Music : Michael Bublé - Me and Mrs Jones]

Heh, it's available all year round too! I was just looking at the opening hours of this computer lab. It says it's open 24hours all day all year round!? Even on Christmas! I mean, if you were a dirt poor student, you could just live in the lab!

Awesome!

Good Morning, Good Afternoon...

[Current Mood : Bored]
[Current Music : Say Anything - Alive with the Glory of Love]

Pretty bored at the moment and I haven't made a big blog entry in ages. So here goes.

Remember sometime in October last year how I blogged about being the star of my own show, where everyone would be watching my everyday life without me knowing (ie. like The Truman Show).

Anyway, I've been thinking about the present and future recently (nothing that big) and wondering how it'll all turn out. Which got me thinking about the blog entry I mentioned before. It wouldn't suck THAT much to live like that. I mean seriously, I doubt they would let me deteriorate into a bin scavenging bum that lived on the streets. I'm sure they'd rig exams and shit so I'd get a reasonable pass grade. Of course, it'd suck if everyone saw me pick my nose and shit. I'm sure they wouldn't allow me to die or something either (at least not until I get old and boring).

Speaking of dying, the 'new' Fruitgrove Station puts you in that situation quite a lot now. If you didn't know already, the Queensland Government is using up all their money to beautify up the train stations. That means, refurbished shelters, new rail lines, new ticket vending machines and probably the (finally) implementing of the 'SmartCard' system.

*Side note*

Hong Kong's Octopus Card system was actually designed by an Australian company. Funnily enough, the system never took off in Australia (probably because of fence jumping bogans) and they are actually going to the Chinese for help with the system now.

*end side note*

.... Fruitgrove station is almost done with its face lift and I gotta say they did a pretty shit job. Don't get me wrong, the station looks great, it's just that the person that planned the layout was probably the biggest dunce ever. See bottom for picture of layout.

It's pretty damn stupid with the new layout. The outbound bus (me going home) leaves about 2 minutes after the train gets to Fruitgrove, so you are forced to risk your life if you want to make the bus (and not wait another 15 minutes). First off, you are forced to run to the END of the platform (because that's the only way out now) and around the 'snake' to get to the inbound bus stop. That's where you have to make a MAD DASH (dotted green line) across two super busy roads. It's basically playing Frogger, but with NO lives/continues and only Game Overs. Of course, you could wait at the lights for the Green Man to come on (heh, Clara! Here is your mention!), but you are definitely going to miss the bus (red line)! I can imagine how infinitely worse it would be if you had to catch the bus after getting off the train coming from the city (blue line). The MAD DASH (green line) is not advised, since you're probably out of stamina from running up/down the stairs, all the way to the end of the platform and around the 'snake'. Game Over buddy. With that said, I JUST made it on the bus today. It was already at the stop and I flagged it about 30 meters away. The driver was nice enough to wait.

This wouldn't happen if I was the star of the show. The director would stop traffic just for me.

... and Good Night.

[Current Mood : Bored]
[Current Music : Common (Feat Bilal) - Your World]

I'm sure most of you are feeling it. It's so shit, the massively molesting offline work overloads.

I was just thinking last night, "hmmm it's week 7 now.. that means I'm gonna be pretty fucked pretty soon."

Oh well, I guess if I realised it this early, I will probably take some pre-emptive steps to prepare. I've got about 2 hours to kill before my next class. Once again, I had to wake up at 5:30 to get ready and get here (Gold Coast Griffith) on time. It's really beginning to be a pain, I need (want :P) a car.

Uni aside, the rest of life is 'satisfactory'. I've been making use of my PS3. Damn, they have some pretty fucking cool games on the PSN (Playstation Network) up for download now. Tekken Online, Puzzle Fighter and Warhawk just to name a few. Of course, these come with a pricetag (sometimes more than you'd expect for downloadable content. Warhawk cost me 50 dollars (Australian dollars), but it's definately worth it. Now I just have to wait until my friends get it so I can play against them.

I've also been playing more Online Tekken (yes, even though I vowed not to play that shit again). It's funny how much people care for their online stats. So much so that they boot you from a room if you beat them, or disconnecting after they lose 1 round of a 3 round match. Lameness. Most of the time, they shouldn't even be angry that they are losing, because they are just THAT shit!

Enough about Tekken and games I guess. I've been wanting to draw again (I tried last night, and I totally suck ass again) after seeing Hyun86's gallery).

ARRRRR I'M SO BORED! I've already gone through all my boredom sites (not Superficial, cos I can't be caught looking at Woman's Day type shit while I'm surrounded by people). Anyway, I'm out of here until I have some more to write about.

Dalveer Test!

[Current Mood : Bored, Sick]
[Current Music : None]

If you don't understand the blog title, don't worry, most people won't.

There will be a test.

Yeah... I have a test in half an hour. Why the fuck would you schedule a test for 8:30am on Saturday anyway. I'm feeling really shit (sick, wanna puke, headache... maybe I'll just go do the test and piss off back home).

I have a summarized set of notes (minimal knowledge), but I don't think I can even retain that much. I really hate exams. Everytime, it's the same. I go to uni and all you hear is smart people that talk about what they know and shit and I'm left thinking, "hmmm, I've never even heard of that shit before."

Long and behold, the test is made up COMPLETELY of the stuff that I missed out on.

I shouldn't have had that coffee this morning, the diuretic effect is kicking in quick. Anyway, I'm outta here. I have to take a piss before I go in and wet myself.

Wish me luck! (Of course, it will be of no use, because by the time you read this, I would have finished the exam already [because no one wakes the fuck up at 8am on a SaturdayAngryAngryAngryAngryAngry])
