July 30 My Own Personal Blog Entry[Current Mood : Bored] [Current Music : Dashboard Confessional - Stolen] Well, Quinton hooked me up with season 6 of Scrubs and I have to say, I was wrong to judge the season by the first episode (pure shit). I guess it went back to regular funny Scrubs after the 2nd or 3rd episode, not to mention more good music at the end of each episode. It's good to know that the series has been picked up for another season (supposedly the last season). Speaking of American shows, all interest in Heroes has dissolved into nothing. Frankly, I wasn't impressed by the last episode at all. Fucking... Hiro in ancient Japan with a setup for the whole Kensei story? Heh, saw it coming. They also have Miss Universe (Japan) to play the princess that Hiro (Kensei) will stab himself in the heart for. Uni is in full (half) swing now, but I still haven't really eased into the new semester's timetable. I guess it's expected when you're doing 1st, 2nd AND 3rd year subjects at the same time. The lecturers are alright this semester as well. One guy though, I don't think he could survive without his almighty lecture notes. He might as well have ShitTalker read it out to us. For those that don't know what ShitTalker is, google it. What else.. The new online Tekken comes out on Wednesday. Should be fun for a while (at least until T6 drops). And incase you didn't pick it, the title of the blog is a nod to Scrubs. Hahaha, you suck
(shit, what a crappy blog entry) July 24 ギャル男 o_0?[Current Mood : Shocked!]
[Current Music : Shiina Ringo - Onion Song]
Well.. I was doing some reading on Linh's blog and i was pretty shocked. Here's the entry.
Normally, i wouldn't really care, but since this is pretty over the line, i am force to comment.
ギャル男 (or Gyarus) translates into "a gal man". What the fuck. Since when was a man being a girl considered hot? It's not the 70s when looking like Prince was considered HOT!

If this is the start of a plan to make hayato look like a fag, please stop now before you ruin someone's life. Because ultimately, hayato will just turn into this -> ![]() Because that's what a Gal Man is right? I did some research and it said that a Gal Man ussually has tanned skin, white, brown hair and tropical clothes and one of those girly haircuts. That's a Gal Man ....right?.... RIGHT?
PS, I'm hating all these new MSN Space upgrades.. they lag my IE like shit. July 23 uniuniuni[Current Mood : Shit] [Current Music : Mii Channel Music] Well.. the winter holidays are well and truly over. The feeling is so shit, when you've been overseas, you come back, have a great time with mates and then...... you have to wake up at 8am to catch a fucking stupid train all the way to the Gold Coast to listen to some guy read off PowerPoint. Kinda lame, but it's got to be done. Maybe this semester will be good (hahahaha... yeah ok). The biggest problem with my uni "experience" is that I've been all over the shop. Repeating subjects, skipping a year etc etc. Any bonds that I make are immediately severed once the semester ends, and if I'm lucky enough to hold onto them for the full year, they probably won't stick around for the next year. Oh well, this semester, I'll be mixed in with first, second AND third years! How's THAT for stupid!? On a happier topic, I've FINALLY found the music for the Mii Channel. What an awesome song! It's just a 1 minute loop (52 seconds, actually). Haha, we were playing Virtua Tennis 3 the other night on PS3, the music in that is so horrible, they should just replace it with the Mii Channel music. In fact, I think they should replace ALL in-game BGMs with Mii Channel music! Anyway, without further ado..... Yeah... there's ten and a half solid minutes of the loop, but who cares. -Late for uni Tom PS.. welcome back, Clara, miss you, kiss you July 15 Heh, Harry Potter[Current Mood : Bored]
[Current Music : YUI - Good-bye Days]
Well, I went to watch Harry Potter with my sister and Orson yesterday. I must say, I was pretty unimpressed. Not that the movie was super bad, just that it felt like NOTHING happened. Before you say anything, no, I don't read the books nor do I plan to. I'll probably just read the wiki blurbs at most.
On the topic of Harry Potter, there are some pretty broken spells. For example.... that.... Abra Kadabra (sp?) instant kill spell. Why don't they all do it? Fucking panzy Harry Potter does the torture one on the goth woman who killed his god father. He could've ended it right there and did Abra Kadabra on her ass!
I went to Sino Centre (Nathan Road, Mong Kok) again today. It's fucking awesome. Basically, it's like the entire Akihabara condensed into 3 storeys of shops (includes anime, manga, gashapon, statues, hentai, games, plushies, clothes, electronics, games etc etc). Friggen awesome!
Anyway, leaving at about 5pm tomorrow, so probably won't be online again until I get back to Australia. The flight is from HK to Sydney (stop over for one hour) and then to Brisbane. Damnit, I hate stop overs. Feels like I'm Tom Hanks in The Terminal.
Outta here. Had fun in HK. Can't wait to come again. July 14 Yay hong kong[Current Mood : Bored, Hot, Awesome] [Current Music : Arctic Monkeys - Mardy Bum] Man, I'm LOVING Hong Kong, and it's a pity I'm leaving tomorrow night :(. Found some awesome places to shop. I bought HEAPS of anime figures and stuff (heh, otaku). Clara will be happy, too bad I'm not giving her any ^______^! Don't want to leave just yet...
-Tom July 06 Long story short..[Current Mood : Bored, Hot, Tired]
[Current Music : Some er hu shit playing in the lobby]
Long story short, I don't like China.
If you didn't know already, I'm on holiday in Asia (first HK, now China). We flew over to China on Dragon Air. It wasn't TOO bad, though the food was crap, there was no inflight entertainment and the air hostesses were far from being close to attractive. We landed, and first thing I noticed was all the "propaganda" type shit all over the place. Posters of uniformed men and women with their fists in the air, Chinese flags etc etc. Second thing I noticed was the HEAT (was like a book burning or some shit ahaha). Oh yeah, we are in China with a tour.
The people on the tour are alright. It's a pretty small group, 12 people (including my family). There's the token couple, there's the token bart po (nosy bitch) (she's actually pretty funny and nice), and another family.
We spend the first day in some place starting with H (near Shang Hai apparently). The heat is unbearable here, I think the temperature reached about 36 degrees on the first day while we were out HIKING around some shit hole. At night, we went to watch some show. It was alright, everything you would expect from China. There were kids doing stunts etc etc. I kinda enjoyed it.
The hotel we stayed in was 6 stars or some shit. It was FUCKING nice. It had 2x 50 something inch LCD TVs (pity all the channels were shit house). There was even a complementary razor so I finally got to shave my wannabe beard.
So far, the thing I hate MOST about China (apart from the heat) is the food!? For fucks sake, I was expecting some dumplings and gyoza and noodles and shit. Supposedly, they take us to all the top shit restaurants to eat the delicacies. Frankly, I'd rather be eating Hanaichi. I'm ussually not one to be health concious, but the food in China is ludicrously oily!? I mean, they bring out a dish of bok choi (chinese cabbage) and I'm like, yeah ok... and then some kent walks in with a saucer and he POURS boiling OIL on top of the fucking dish! I've noticed that stuff is excessively salty here. Fucken chinks! I better lay low on all the anti china stuff. I heard they censor their interwebs here!
Oh yeah, one thing that got be REALLY REALLY angry was that the heat fucked my phone up. It won't even power up now. I will have to buy a new battery in Hong Kong. Hopefully it isn't the phone that is broken. :( Sorry Clara, blame China.
Another thing I've noticed in China is that all the chicks are ..... hahaha riding bicycles. Bicycles are the only thing you see more than dirty people in China! And FUCK! Crossing the roads! They don't even have traffic lights! Crossing the road is like playing Frogger (I'm serious). The entire tour almost got run over by a truck!
Anyway, we are going to bus off to Shang Hai tomorrow. Hopefully it'll be better than this hole.
I can't wait to get back to Hong Kong! I bought a PS3 already. Will probably shop around for some games too. Too bad they cost about the same as they do in Australia, otherwise I'd be taking orders :P Any recommendations?
Anyway, this is costing me 2 yuan for every minute. I'll blog again when I get the chance. I had an entry saved onto my laptop when I was blogging at the Brisbane airport, but haven't gotten the chance to post it yet.

+edit+
oh yeah. watched Die Hard 4.0 in Hong Kong. It was pretty funny. I was whispering "Hi, I'm a Mac throughout the whole movie" July 02 Hiblah blah
Im in hk
the flight was almost unbearable. Some faggot mainland chinese fuckhead had his chair RECLINED for the duration of the WHOLE trip
Bought a HORI fighting stick 3 for 35(aud)today. SOrry guys, i nabbed the last one!
Miss you CLara!
Net is $$$here,i better go July 01 TPG rocks[Current Mood : Bored]
[Current Music : Yoko Kanno - Rush]
I've been capped since the beginning of the month. But who cares, I think I've found a loophole in TPG ADSL2+ $60 (30gb) plan. I've WHORED the download to 240% (42.1gb over). I think, once you reach 200%, the cap lifts or something? Khekuukekheekhooo[Current Mood : Bored]
[Current Music : Piero Umilani - Crepuscolo Sul Mare]
The Transformers movie was alright. Loads of action (just what you'd expect from Michael Bay).
Highlights of the movie were:
Megan Fox
Jazz getting fucking RIPPED in half
Mountain Dew
Sam's happy time
The rest of the movie was pretty Doritos (Corny and Cheesy - ahahahahaha I made that up myself). The movie was filled to the RIM with product placement (it was pretty funny though).
I'm leaving you!![Current Mood : Bored]
[Current Music : Sambomaster - Tegami]
Well, yeah, I've been pretty busy with everything lately. Too busy to blog. Erks and Youssef came to visit Brisbane. orry I didn't come out much. Held a tournament at the Norman Hotel, it was fucking awesome (not the Tekken). Everyone was relaxed and having fun. DanTran was maggot off his face, Nick had a few and was funny, Yuui RUVS AUSTRARIA and DropPants (presumably) got laid (by Chi)(presumably)(that's what DanTran said anyway).. Went to the Hoshi's 21st. Was fun. The "2-1" wife beater dance was awesome! Clara left for Taiwan and Canada. I pray that she is safe and comes back to me in one (big) piece!
And yeah, I will be leaving for Hong Kong and Shang Hai tomorrow afternoon at about 1pm. Expect the traditional airport blog (live via ludicrously expensive internet booth). Maybe this time it'll be free because I'm bringing the laptop... Heh, nevermind, it (free internet) will never happen in Australia.
Heh, this blog has had quite a few hits these past few days. I think it's because I have been blatantly advertising this page on my "new" MySpace. No....... I haven't sold out. I'm still not a big fan of MySpace. I just signed on so I can look at photos. Funny that MySpace should come up though. I've actually had an account since Jan 2004, back when it was still in its beta stages. Frankly, I wasn't impressed (it was slow and shit). I don't even know why it suddenly became popular (probably because it's a subsidiary of News Corp and is littered with emo faggots that look like women).
....
Add me!
....
Anyway, the trip to Asia. I'm gone for 2 weeks and a bit (leaving 1st of July and coming back on the 16th). First few days will probably be reserved for meet and greets with all sorts of family members I've never seen/heard of. I'm happy that I will get a chance to hang out with my Grandma, uncles and aunties again, they are a hoot (especially my Granny [mum's side]). I think we are actually going to Shang Hai on the third day. I'm not a big fan of mainland China. Dirty gooks all over the place (eat my shit, I can say "dirty gooks" because I am Chinese myself). I am willing to bet that the Shang Hai trip will consist mainly of cramming onto a bus and hurrying all over China to see stuff that I don't give a shit about. At least the food is good.
Hong Kong will be great. Shopping, Tekken, Relatives and Food! I am looking into buying a PS3. Will be a worthy purchase when Tekken 6 and Tekken 5 DR:Online comes out. I have to lug two of those beasts back to Australia too (one for me and one for Quinton). I just hope that I don't get taxed out of my asshole for bringing two back. The strategy will involve walking behind mum and my sister and I carrying a PS3 each (in luggage of course). Somehow, we ALWAYS get stopped by the customs when we are walking behind dad (he must look like a dodgy gook or something). I've already devised a backup story too, just incase we DO get stopped by the customs. One each for my sister and I (because I live down at the coast).
Hopefully, I'll have the internet in Hong Kong so I won't miss out on the latest Brisbane gossip and everything! I also need the internet to communicate with the Hong Kong Tekken scene. Hopefully I'll rep Brisbane and Australia well. Wish me luck!
Anyway, It's 12:12am now. I better finish packing.
*edit*
Back from packing. Fuck! I almost forgot to pack undies!
Happy holidays everyone!
Out of here, bye! |
