17 juin The first rule of Fight Club is ...[Current Mood : Bored]
[Current Music : Survivor - Eye of the Tiger]
... you do not talk about Fight Club.
Well, apparently a few kids did. If you haven't heard already, a few year 10 and 11 kids from BGS got busted for fighting. In short, big news story, blown out of proportion etc etc ie, the usual. The only difference is this time... videos were put on YouTube. The fighters were expelled and the spectators "heavily" punished.
Hahahahaha! What happened to the good old days when fights weren't such a big thing!? I remember when John and I had a 'fight'. We just had to talk to the head of year and that was it. (I kicked his ass by the way). I also remember the fight between Tom Fletcher and Owen Brown. Pulled crowds of over 200 people! They didn't even get suspended!
You can read the full story here
As Quinton says, ".. that place has gone downhill since we left :P"
PS, I haven't had any luck with the videos. If anyone has a copy, I would be very interested :D. 14 juin The definition of MANLY[Current Mood : Extremely bored]
[Current Music : Jason Mraz - Geek in the Pink]
You can imagine how fucking bored I am right now. Triple post for the lose.
Anyway, just a small update. I've been reading Maddox's "The Best Page In The Universe" since late 2003. I've gotta say, he's a pretty damn funny guy.
Just wanted to share a book that he released a little while back.
Remember, you know the deal. If you don't own the original copy, you have to delete this in 24 hours....
Hahahaha.
Maddox is also the author of this video.
haha enjoy. They'll never learn #2[Current Mood : VERY bored]

I ducked by Yuen's Market today to buy some snacks for studying. I must admit, I'm impressed by how much they've done in so little time. There's basically two Yuen's Markets at Market Square now. One of them is running in the now-evicted Red Rooster shop next to Blockbuster Video store. The other is running in a metal shipping crate in the carpark. I talked to the "can I check your bag prease" woman and she said that they would eventually put all the seafood in the Red Rooster store and all the dry stuff in the shipping crate. The "can I check your bag prease" woman isn't so bitchy anymore. She must've gone through a ..... life changing situation or something. I've also noticed that John Lau's cousin doesn't wear so much makeup anymore (not that I was checking her out or anything of course).
Pictures of new Yuen's Market at the end.
In other news, we went to Linh's birthday party the other day. It was at Koh-Ya Japanese restaurant. I was actually looking forward to some good food, but we ended up getting all-you-can-eat bullshit rubbish meat instead. Puff bet John that he couldn't finish X amount of plates of stuff and said that he would pay for his dinner if he did. I figure that's a pretty good deal for John. If he doesn't finish X amount of bullshit food, he still gets his money's worth. Here's a picture of him getting owned by his last bowl of flame grilled crap. You can also see Linh... stabbing... her birthday cake.
*side story* Linh actually rang me as Clara and I were walking to the restaurant, telling us to pick the cake up for her. So we did. BUT! The cake wasn't even there!? Hahahaha the woman explained how they were closing up soon and the baker didn't bake the cake for no particular reason. So we ended up just getting the last cake in the store. The shop keeper was actually really friendly. She was fully checking me out and told me that I was very tall and a good looking asian boy. She asked where I was from and I explained that I was born in Australia. She concluded that it must have been the milk that made me tall and good looking.
*end side story*
*start another side story*
The other day, I was sitting at home studying, when my sister called me over to the window. She saw two asian men sitting on our lawn eating noodles!!!??!?! Pictures at the end!
*end*
</end> Quarter pounder with bacon and mayo plz.[Current Mood : Bored]
[Current Music : Sambomaster - I Love You] Heh, been pretty 'busy' lately with exams and all. I've actually been studying quite a lot and playing quite a lot of games too.
I've downloaded Max Payne 1 and 2 for no particular reason. I missed out on playing them during their release mainly because my computer wasn't good enough at the time. Damn cool story, concept and engine.
I've been capped for about 4 days now (it's only the 14th) meaning I only lasted 10 days with 30 gigs of bandwidth. It's getting pretty rediculous. Oh well, I guess it's a good thing because I won't be YouTubing at all.
I will be heading to Hong Kong and Shanghai on the 1st of July. It should be damn fun. Hopefully I'll find a good price on a PS3. I'm not particularly 'pumped' about Shanghai though.... Anything involving mainland China automatically sucks ass. Maybe I'll get a chance to play some of the Shanghai Tekken scene.
In other news, it's been a year since I met and ... wooed Clara. We spent a romantic night sitting on the floor in a flourcent lit room eating soup and toast. Honestly, if I had a choice, I wouldn't have it any other way. Well, maybe a proper dinner would have been good, but I'm sure Clara was happy! (She didn't even remember!) I don't think I'll make a big deal about the whole "omg ONE year!" thing, because that's only for people that are suprised that they actually made it that far.
I'm craving my topic burger *drool*
Anyway, better get back to procrastudination. 4 juin So shit[Current Mood : Bored] [Current Music : Yoko Kanno - Piano Solo (Live)] Swotvac (Study WithOut Teaching VACation) has officially started, although it feels like I've been on it since the semester started. As usual, a LOT to catch up on and a LOT of procrastination. I really haven't been doing much lately, mainly been going over to Clara's, going to Replay and bumming at home. I really should spend more time with Clara. In other news, I've formatted my computer ONCE AGAIN! Piece of shit just doesn't want to work, so I bought a new 300 gig HDD. It's been decent ever since. I've been hitting the download pretty hard, mostly from re-downloading all the shit that I had on the old (now broken into pieces) HDD. The download record says that I downloaded an excess of 32gigs last month (May). My limit is only 30 gigs. One thing I have noticed about TPG (my ISP) is that the speeds uncap (when you are capped) from 1am to 8am. I don't know if this is part of the deal, but I'm keeping my mouth shut on this one, it's TOO good. A funny ad. My current music: Yoko Kanno - Piano Solo (Live) |
