23 octobre The eyes, they're watching[Current Mood : Bored, Happy]

I guess I'll start with the regular weekly roundup. Uni has finished (the lectures have anyway), I had my last one today. It was a shit final lecture as well, I might add. The course convenor had us all hyped up on how she was going to spill the beans about the end of sememester final exam. Sadly, no beans were spilled. I had to wake up at 5:20!!?!?! to get there on time. I should have known.
I've started playing Lei in Tekken. He's pretty fun to use, but I only started playing a new character because ... everyone else did. I picked Lei because no one in Brisbane really uses him as their main and I don't want to be caught up in a "who has the best x char" vendetta thing.
In the past few weeks, I've seen; Little Miss Sunshine, The Departed and Crank and Talladega Nights. Little Miss Sunshine was shit house (imo), it just wasn't my type of comedy movie. Crank was great! The Departed was decent, but nothing compared to the Hong Kong version. Talladega Nights was good as well.
Anyway, onto more "interesting" things. I was on the way home from uni today and was waiting at the platform of Helensvale station. An oldish asian man with blood running down the side of his face approached me and asked if I was Chinese. Turns out he'd been hit up or something and needed to go to Brisbane to get to work? o_0. He left me a phone number and address so he could pay me back. Time passes and the train is about to come, so I "stand behind the yellow line". This hot (she was really really hot) Japanese girl decked out in a denim skirt and some kind of top just walked in front of me. So I thought to myself, "hah! wtf push in line just because you are hot hey?".
So everyone go onto the train, she sat a few seats away from me. We were half way to Coomera (sp?) and I was getting bored, so I whipped out my ........ PSP.. and started playing Tekken. I had noticed from the corner of my eye that the girl was looking at me. I played for about 5 minutes and her starring continued. I looked up and she looked away. I kept playing, she continued to stare. I put away my psp and she kept looking. I also noticed a few other people looking at me.
At this point, I thought that my fly was open. I checked, it wasn't. There was no bird shit on my clothes.... My Tekken skillz aren't that amazing, so that rules out admires of Tekken. Finally, the train got to Beenleigh and I got off, all weirded out. The 150 bus came and I was on the final stretch home. The bus driver gave me a fucking weird look when I boarded too.
Have you guys ever had the feeling that everyone was watching you? Maybe I'm just paranoid. Maybe I was born into a reality television show. Maybe EVERYTHING in the world is revolving around me!!! Maybe everything is a set up. Maybe the bashed old asian man will make an appearance later on in my life. Maybe the Japanese girl was a scripted love interest (hah, as if. I love you Clara............. but........ do you love me?........ are you just a scripted actor?..... T___T)
..... Also.... I feel the need to say this.
Passion Fruit tic tacs are fucking disgusting.

I've come to the conclusion that everyone was starring at me because I am so hot. The bus driver was undoubtedly gay and was perplexed at how hot I was.
And yes, I am 7488 days old today. Go me!

I've always been a fan of Advance Wars ever since I downloaded the Roms for Game Boy Advance. I stumbled upon a web based multiplayer version of the game. It's really really well made (though there aren't any battle animations).

I felt the need to update my blog again. Nothing much has happened these few weeks. Just been "busy" with uni, hanging out with Clara and the guys, going to Replay and watching movies.
Hah, movies. I've seen...... exactly 27 movies since the 10th of June. It's been 4 months give or take a few days since we were all mushy during Cars (decent movie, I might add) and I feel the need to .... express? my happy-squirmyness.
You are one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me. Even better than the time I found a bag of Replay tokens that someone left on the Street Fighter III machine. At the time I'm typing this up, you are probably at Replay because you missed your bus. I wish more than anything else at this moment that I could be there to hold you...... or.... be there playing Tekken while you watch/drift off into boredom.
Mark says that we should try new stuff like..... go to the park, or go to the museum. I really wouldn't mind, but I feel that it's the same wherever we are. You're still my little fatty, and I'm still your harmsup bb. (aww that was so mooooshy, I think I'm getting goosebumps)
I think I'm gonna take a shower now. I had a double beef and bacon burger on the jog home and now I'm all hot and sweaty. brb.

Well, I've lost whatever train of thought I had before. Anyway, That's about it for this blog.

2 octobre This is Our Festival[Curren Mood : Bored] [Current Music : Last Alliance - Shissou] I just finished watching the last episode of Ouran High School Host Club. The ending was pretty decent, considering they totally rushed to the end in the last 2 episodes. I'm looking for a few new series to get into. I have my eyes set on Kemonodzume, Black Lagoon and Jigoku Shoujo. Anymore suggestions? Leave a comment please. I'm also watching Curb your Enthusiasm. It's taking a while (sorry Mark), maybe I should just copy them all and return them :P. Definately on-par (if not better than) Seinfeld. I'm also well into the second season of Prison Break. It's not as good as the first season, but it's good in it's own way àla 1993's The Fugitive. I'm enjoying it heaps but I'm not sure how long this is going to last. The prisoners have finally broken out of the prison, they are now on the run with several groups after them (FBI, local police, some kind of government agency and rogue employees of the prison they escaped from). The episodes ALL end on a cliff hanger (as always). Michael's new nemisis is Agent Mahone, a mysterious crazy druggy FBI agent who is just as smart as Michael. Rumour has it that there is a 6th season of Scrubs coming soon! I'm pumped about that too. The Death Note animated series premiers TOMORROW in Japan (definately something to look forward to), so I'm expecting fansubs to surface in a few days. It's pretty funny how all of these good shows are starting just as uni is about to get super hectic. Oh well, I'll manage something. In other news, I've somehow gotten back into Ragnarok Online (romantic meeting ground, an (un)healthy addiction, broken game), this time on CakeRO, an American? server which has rates of 2000/2000/1000. I guess the game is still "fun" to a certain extent. It's no where NEAR as enjoyable as when I started on acRO because I don't know anyone accept for Clara. The exp and drop rates are RIDICULOUSLY high, so it's easy to level up and make money. People are....... quiet on this server, most probably because they are all RO geeks feeding on every zenny and every % of exp they get. We went to a Chinese Mid Autumn Festival celebration on Saturday. It was ..... different? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAnyway I should really knuckle down on this assignment that's due tomorrow. |
